Hey there, I’m Madi

Music has always been a huge passion of mine, the way it connects people, allows them to express who they are and how they feel in such a creative and beautiful way. For me music is in everything I do, so I feel so privileged that I get to share my passion for music in my work as a Registered Music Therapist; using music to support and empower those I work with.

The practice of music therapy creates such a supportive and safe space for individuals to explore, challenge, create and express themselves, and I have seen this first hand while working in adult inpatient mental health and rehabilitation . Reaching those who struggle with mental ill-health very quickly became a passion of mine while I was studying, and has continued to be since starting work as an RMT in early 2023.

I now have experience working with a wide range of clients in several hospital settings, both mental health and acute care, as well as in schools and aged care.

I studied a Bachelor of Music (Music Theatre) before becoming an RMT, so I have a great love for the performing arts (particularly dance), and love exploring new creative hobbies, which of late includes sourdough (I put it in everything!) and crochet.

I am also an avid reader and plant mom who loves food, being out in nature and a good cup of coffee (maybe a little too much…).
